The small things we do consistently are what make the biggest changes. We have a chance every single day to do something positive for ourselves. It doesn’t have to be an event or extravagant.
All we need is 10 minutes.
Take a walk
10 minutes of mobility
Plan your weekly meals
Meditate
10 minutes of yoga
Breath work
For my 10 minutes, I like to get up and move. We find ourselves sitting for hours on end each day. Our body craves movement and in most cases these small bouts of movement just add more energy and efficiency to the rest of the day. Create that small window where you “get“ to move everyday.
The small things we can commit to daily add up to BIG changes over time. But the difficulty comes with being disciplined in giving ourselves 10 minutes, 365 days a year.
If we were able to stay on track for the entire year, that would be 60 hours of doing positive work for yourself. 60 HOURS!
Get yourself into the mindset that you deserve that 10 minutes, It’s a non-negotiable, just something that you need to do throughout your day. And you are free to do whatever you find to be positive for yourself and your body.
The idea is simple, the execution takes some convincing. It’s hard to add another thing to your already busy day and think you are going to do It every single day without fail. Look at your screen time, think of how much TV you watched yesterday, or how many hours you spent sitting.
Could any of that time have been spent doing something positive?
Now what about your goals? What are you looking to achieve? Could you do something today to get one step closer to that goal?
Find your 10 minutes!
In good health,
Jeff
