The 5 Things You Need

Effective.

The word we use to see if what we are doing is actually working.
Is my routine effective? How can I make It more effective? 
Effectiveness works even better when it’s efficient.

That’s the recipe, if It works, and It works in a timely manner, we have everything we can want!

Let’s lay out what an effective (and efficient) routine will need- The 5 Things

1.) Squat 
2.) Bend
3.) Push
4.) Pull
5.) Lunge
The 5 basic movements that WILL make your routine as effective as possible. Don’t overthink what fits where, just plug in what exercises you want and get to work.

What will It look like:
1.) Heels Elevated Goblet Squat 3×8

2.) Hip thrust 2×12

3a.) Incline DB bench press 4×8-10

3b.) Chest supported row 4×8-10

4a.) Sled push 3 x 20 yards

It can also look like:

1a.) Trap bar deadlift 4×5

1b.) DB Z-Press 4×8

2.) Rear Foot Elevated Split Squat 3×6-8

3a.) Feet Elevated Inverted Row 3×8-12

3b.) Dumbbell Wall Sit 3×1:00

The true effectiveness doesn’t just come from the workout (although it’s a big piece to the puzzle) but it comes from if you actually DO It. So add things in there that you enjoy, that you look forward to doing.
Dreading every second of every workout is not a fun experience.

Find what works for you and stick to it, this is not a “science specific workout for your exact body-type”. This is work. This is a routine that you can follow with real planning behind It. Something that you can make work for you.

Every part of your body will move, every area will work, and all the major movements will be taken care of. From here you just need to plug and play. Toss in your favorite exercises, give some damn good effort, and be consistent!
